About us  Alexa Rapp is an internationally certified Colon Hydrotherapist and has a background in personal healthcare. Her true passion lies in using natural methods in helping the body keep itself healthy and clean. She has performed over 7,000 colonics and had her own clinic in America for over 5 1/2 years. She has now had a clinic in New Zealand for close to 2 years. Alexa began with 3 years of nursing school and spent 2 years as a home health care aide. This promotes whole body detoxification. It is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs. By introducing pure, filtered and temperature regulated water into the colon, build up is softened and loosened resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis. What Happens? Do I need to prepare for my colonic? It is best not to eat or drink for an hour and a half before your session. You are given a gown to wear and the sterile equipment is used in an enclosed system ensuring the highest standard of hygiene.  After of the insertion of a small sterile
disposable tube, you lie comfortably on your back, completely covered by a gown
as continuous water flow softens impacted matter and removes it from the colon.
The therapist monitors the temperature and pressure of the water infused into
the colon while massaging the
abdomen. If you like you can view the evacuation via the view tube. We can see the progress of your body's detox
process by analyzing the build up that is coming out.The average session lasts about 45 minutes and
could result in a profound sensation of rejuvenation and clarity. What does it feel like? It is the familiar feeling of going to the bathroom. Some individuals may experience a bit of a cramping sensation but it is mild and comes and goes within the session, this is your colon's natural peristaltic action. Every client is different as far as the amount of treatments needed to correct a condition or simply help with seasonal cleansing. We recommend a series of 3-10 sessions fairly close together 2-3 days apart to better determine the value of the therapy. Cleansing with hydrotherapy is a soaking process and with each session we are able to go deeper.
